Opportunity
We are looking for a Group EHS Manager
Objective of the position is developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within the organization. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, promotes a safety culture, and leads the continuous improvement of EHS performance across all business operations.
Your responsibilities will be:
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling EHS activities across all Group sites and ensuring compliance with internal and external EHS standards, regulations, and policies. You will be also responsible for the correct application of safety standards and procedures. You will promote prevention and the adoption of mandatory and improvement measures in all areas of safety, environment, and worker health and hygiene. You will actively work to foster a culture of safety, including through coaching Managers and safety officers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Development and Implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies;
- Risk management;
- Training and development;
- Monitoring and reporting;
- Stakeholder engagement;
- Continuous improvement
To be successful in this role you'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior EHS role, preferably at a multi-site or group level;
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and standards;
- RSPP qualification (D. Lgs. 81/08) – ATECO4 sector;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights;
- Fluency in English;
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to safety and environmental protection;
- Ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams and locations;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
- Proactive and able to work independently.
Nice to have:
- Proficient in EHS software and reporting tools.;
- Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS management systems.
